☀️ July Yellow Day ☀️
Show your support by choosing a day in July to shine bright for Brighter Berkshire’s 2017 Year of Mental Health
Mental illness is a disease that affects so many people in our community, yet still people are afraid to speak out and many suffer in silence, often for years.
Here in Berkshire we are taking a stand and raising awareness of the issue in the hope that people will speak out and get the help they so desperately need.
Venture into your wardrobe and dig out any bright yellow item. Wear it with pride on a Friday of your choosing to college, work or to your local pub or community group.
Get your friends and colleagues to join in and between you will be helping the Brighter Berkshire 2017 Year of Mental Health to stand up and stand out against the stigma which is still associated with mental illness.
Don’t forget to tweet pictures of your event at the #Yellow4BB, the best and most wacky entries will be featured in the local press.
