Run 5k or 10k to support the Year of Mental Health

BCF and Brighter Berkshire have teamed up with Samaritans Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot & Districts for their SAMARITANS Run on 1st July.

The event is organised by Samaritans of Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot & Districts. It is being held on Saturday 1st July at Easthampstead Park Community School and attractions include a pre-start warm-up led by Reading fitness instructor Sally Armstrong, chip timing and a “goody” bag. The SAMARITANS are encouraging families and friends to come along and show their support. A BBQ and refreshments will also be available for both runners and guests, and all Samaritans Run finishers will receive a special SAMARITANS medal.

Brighter Berkshire will be attending the event to raise awareness for the 2017 Year of Mental Health and to support all of the runners, including those running to raise vital funds to support mental health projects in Berkshire.

You can find all the race information on the samaritans website.
