Mental Health Awareness Week 2017

This year Mental Health Awareness Week will take place on 8-14 May 2016 with the theme ‘Surviving or thriving?’. Every year, in May, the Mental Health Foundation help to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues.

Bracknell

10th May, 6pm-8pm

Easthampstead Baptist Church, South Hill Road, RG12 7NS

Run in conjunction with Bracknell Public Health, this event offers Bracknell residents the opportunity to learn about Happiness, and what the science of Happiness tells us about what truly makes us happy. Fascinating, inspiring and enjoyable, but also life enhancing. Let’s all do our best to stay mentally well – learn some of the skills at this workshop.

If you have ever had a mental illness and want to consider how to recover well come and find out more about what Recovery means in a mental health setting – you can have a fulfilled and satisfying life despite having a mental health condition.

Bradbury Centre, Wokingham

In the week after we will continue to encourage good mental health with this Workshop discussing a fantastic self management tool to aid Recovery in Mental Health – Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP). There is HOPE of living a satisfying and meaningful life – come along and find out more.
