Team  – Support the initiative and as a team pledge to do something to raise awareness or funds for mental health.

Organisation – Support the initiative and pledge to do something over the year to raise awareness about mental health and improve mental health in your workplace.

Be a Champion

Do something within your sphere of influence to raise awareness about mental health, sign up to share information with your networks or have conversations about mental health and share all of this with us.

Be an Ambassador

Commit to be part of a network of people who are happy to go and talk with other people about the initiative and/or mental health depending on your experience as someone who has either worked in mental health, worked in an area which has delivered mental health benefits, experienced mental health issues and/or you have been a carer for people who have had mental health issues. You will be supported in this role and you would share with us the feedback or impact you have made.

Be a Partner

Work alongside us with expertise and resources to help shape and develop the initiative.

Be an Advisor

You are someone with expertise or networks to areas relevant to this initiative and would be happy to provide some advice to us. Our ambition is to have a board of advisors and would welcome any offers to be on this.

Art and Photography

This group is a lovely place to enjoy playing with photography and art across Berkshire (and beyond!). Whatever your ability or aspirations there are lovely people who can offer help and encouragement.

Please feel free to share your photos or pictures of your artwork and if you have any questions post those too!

We have created this group as art and photography can be fantastic stress relievers and help as a mechanism to cope with all manner of mental health issues.

100 Day Fitness Challenge

This 100 Day Challenge is about getting active every day and committing to walking 1 mile a day – or running/cycling/swimming – up to you.

Running this challenge is Heidi, an experienced fitness coach and will be motivating and inspiring us every day as the challenge goes on. The challenge begins on Saturday September 23rd for 100 days, running until the 31st December.

Stick with us and we’ll help you to have an amazingly healthy and happy end to 2017.

If you would like to put on an event to raise awareness or funds for mental health and you can tell us about it through making a pledge, and we can help facilitate your event.


Get Involved as a Business

You can join our £1 per employee scheme.

£1 per Employee will go towards a collaborative effort across the county to improve mental health, these vital funds will drive Brighter Berkshire’s events, increase awareness, strengthen support networks across the region and support local charities and initiatives aimed at making a lasting difference to the mental health of the Berkshire population.
