Entric, a local electrician company, based in Reading, are leading the way for men to open up and talk more about their mental health. The team are involved in a range of different activities throughout the year to engage staff and customers  in talking about mental health and they will bike from Newbury to Bath along the canal on Saturday 24th June. The proceeds from this will be donated to the Brighter Berkshire initiative.

John Gratrix, Director at Entric recently lost his brother to suicide in January last year and is committed to helping raise awareness about the issue of mental health; helping men in particular to open up and talk. His brother, who worked in a car dealership at the time was 44. John says he ‘just needed to talk to someone’.

The Brighter Berkshire team and supporters are inspired by their Bike Ride commitment and will now also be running a Bike Ride through Berkshire in September/October to help raise awareness of the affects of mental health issues. Keep an eye out for details in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you Entric for your leadership and commitment to this issue and the drive to improve mental health locally.
