We cannot promote public health and wellbeing without talking about mental health. Across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, we have been adopting an approach that there is no public health without mental health. I am absolutely delighted to support Brighter Berkshire, which provides an important and exciting opportunity to raise awareness and share best practice.
“It is so important that we talk openly about mental health, remove the stigmas surrounding it and treat it with the same importance as physical health and other conditions. Around one in four of us will be affected in some way by mental health issues. Through Brighter Berkshire, we can help shine a light on mental health and make a real difference to Berkshire residents. Let’s make 2017 the year of mental health.”
