20th July, 9.30am – 12.30pm – Brighter Berkshire Wokingham Inaugural Meeting

Wokingham are getting ready to launch Brighter Berkshire!!
Come along with your ideas of how to improve the lives of people who have encountered mental health problems, as well as to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
We would love people from all walks of life to attend – businesses, organisations, services, from the world of art, theatre, music, literature, as well as practical help with venues, refreshments, expenses.
When: Thursday 20th July 9.30am
Where: Conference Room, Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, Rushey Way, Lower Earley,Berkshire RG6 4GD
Bring: – Ideas, passion and humour – let’s make Wokingham abetter place for all those touched by mental illness

 10th October – World Mental Health Day

We will be hosting out Secondary School Song Writing Competition Final in Reading Town Hall on World Mental Health Day.

This event promises to be an amazing way to celebrate World Mental Health Day on 10th October with the final of a secondary school song writing competition across Berkshire. We hope there will be at least 9 finalists, other performances and stories to share on the night linked with mental health.

  • 19th March – Reading Half Marathon with Berkshire Community Foundation – 33 runners for year of mental health

  • 25th March – Walk and Talk Mental Health – Newbury – 20 volunteers attended
  • 29th March Bracknell-Forest event – Children and Young People – attended by 80 people
